If governments start to promote the use of these eco-friendly fuels more then some analysts believe the use of diesel and gasoline will reduce accordingly.

Next to Brazil, the United States, which is the world's greatest oil-guzzler, is now one of the largest producer of biofuels. Meanwhile the European Union lags way behind with only four million tonnes per year. EU's biodiesel fuels are drawn from rapeseed oil and soybean oil which comprises eighty percent of its totality and the other 20 percent is composed of a marginal quantity of palm oil. - 21393
