There are however some that will only do something like donating a used car if there's something in it for them. Well, even they will enjoy the potential reduction in their tax bill. Many groups, including some cities, will give them a tax credit, or even pay cash for donated cars.
Now, if by some chance donating out of the kindness of your heart doesn't motivate you, there are kickbacks. Some charities will give you cash in the hand.
