Playing with Deductibles Using Online Car Insurance Quotes

By Donovan Grange

With the economy the way it is these days, many people are trying to find ways to cut their expenses while still maintaining their necessities. Often times, when things get hard, people let the bills drop that they feel they can get away with and car insurance happens to be one the bills people feel are disposable -- even though having car insurance is required in every state.

Most people feel like they will just pick it up again once their situations improve, figuring that since they are a good driver -- defensive, law abiding, never speeding or talking on a cell phone -- that the odds of them needing it before they can reinstate it are pretty low. It is unfortunate that there are people in this situation, but there is an option: you can receive a car insurance quotes from your insurance agent for making your deductible higher.

Many people do not realize you can ask your insurance agent for a higher deductible in order to lower your monthly premiums. Often times, when you receive your car insurance quotes for a higher deductible, this can save hundreds of dollars a year on car insurance. Given that most people let their insurance lapse in order to make do at the time, this can be a huge motivator for keeping the car insurance and still saving some money. If you consider yourself a good driver then you are less likely to need insurance, so having a higher deductible is more than likely the best way to go in this situation. Then, you can rest easy with the knowledge that just in case something were to happen, you are still covered.

Basically, when you are receiving your car insurance quotes for the higher deductible, you will be choosing a deductible -- the out of pocket amount you would have to pay to repair your car in the event of an accident -- of either $250, $500 or $1000. By going with the $1000 deductible on your collision insurance, the insurance that covers the physical damage of your car in an accident, you can save upwards of 20% off your insurance bill. This can amount to huge savings for the car owner and is certainly worth checking out.

Higher deductibles might be preferred if you're a very good driver with a fairly blemish-free driving record. While we all would like to believe that we're good drivers, we need to look at the facts and recognize our driving imperfections. Whatever your skill and driving history, you can find an insurance plan that works for you. - 21393

Who Compares to Dale Earnhardt?

By Jeremy Dunn

NASCAR racing fans are yearning for the next Dale Earnhardt Sr. But the Intimidator was a rare breed. One of a kind. When he died 8 years ago it was a tragedy for all of his family and fans. Many fans wish some driver could kick into gear and remind them of Dale Sr. A few drivers have been compared with Dale Earnhardt Sr., the seven-time Winston Cup champion.

Naturally NASCAR racing fans compare Dale Jr. with his father. It is easy. They have the same name. They sound the same. But Dale Jr. is not as aggressive nor as reckless on the track as his father was. Dale Jr. does not initiate trouble on the track unless his opponents dog him relentlessly.

Kevin Harvick moved into Earnhardt Sr.'s position with Richard Childress Racing. They swapped the number to 29 and altered the colors of the famous number 3 car to mostly white. Harvick is both aggressive and controversial. Harvick is a businessman. He has his own identity. NASCAR racing fans notice. there Early in his career he showed a tendency to irritate his competition. Harvick owns 2 race teams, a Camping World Series Truck team and a Nationwide Series team.

Harvick was both aggressive and controversial. Harvick is a businessman. Harvick He has his own identity. Yes there are strong similarities. Early in his career Harvick showed a tendency to irritate his competition. Harvick owns 2 race teams, a Camping World Series Truck team and a Nationwide Series team.

Though Kyle Busch reminds me a little of Earnhardt Sr., there is no way he could be the Intimidator. Busch was awesome in 2008. His aggressive driving and frequent wins and brash personality stirred some comparisons to the late Dale Earnhardt.

Tony Stewart's temper and distaste for the media totally stretches the limits. Sometimes even more than Earnhardt Sr. ever did. He is aggressive. He never hesitates to take his complaints public. In addition, Tony Stewart is an entrepreneur. He has his own race track in Eldora. He also owns several race teams in Sprint and the World of Outlaws. When He became owner-driver of Stewart Haas Racing, he captured a lot of attention and a raised tons of skepticism and even a little hope.

Look over your list, NONE of these drivers will ever be the grand Intimidator, Dale Earnhardt. Only one driver is starting to vaguely remind me of Earnhardt. Tony Stewart. Tony Stewart stepped up as a successful owner in the Sprint Cup Series with an also ran team. He has two championships already and is doing well this season. Watch Tony Stewart . - 21393

TomTom Go 720 Is A Fine Car GPS Navigation For Everyone.

By Joe (the plumber)

The screen is large enough to read with out squinting your eyes.TomTom Go 720 is a pretty nice unit. It has a sleek design and it is so portable it can be placed into a small pocket.

When I started to become in the market for a Car GPS Navigation was when I stopped getting service to my cell phone that I was using as a GPS. I couldn't figure out why my car wasn't moving. I did some research online and found the TomTom Go 720.

I am pleased that the prices keep coming down on these great little units. When searching for a Car GPS Navigation I look at a variety of things; Portability, Durability and Clarity. I think the TomTom Go 720 has all those elements.

I don't travel great distances, I just do a lot of inner city driving and like fast access to directions. The price is pretty affordable. I certainly don't claim to be an know-it-all.. I am just your ordinary consumer looking for the best value for a Car GPS Navigation.

I considered buying a car that had a Car GPS Navigation built in, but that was $1000 extra for the feature and it was not as good as the TomTom Go 720. When I look for a new car, forget about if it has a Car GPS Navigation. It just needs an oversize cup holder.

I never usually write up stuff like this, I am just excited that I can reasonably afford to get into a Car GPS Navigation and didn't start to shop for anything until I started seeing that the prices starting to come down on these units.

I'm not trying to particularly sell you on the TomTom Go 720. Garmin makes fine Car GPS Navigation units also. It was a tough decision because I wanted to make sure I was able to get the accessories at an affordable price, really it was a toss up. TomTom Go 720, just won. - 21393

Finding Cheap Electric Scooters

By Steven M. Mihajlov

Electric scooters are growing in popularity for those who are trying to save money but still need to get around easily. Besides the fact that electric mobility scooters are easier to operate, senior citizens and the handicapped also find that using an electric scooter is better than a wheelchair. Wheelchairs can go only as far as a few meters, but scooters can run for several miles.

In America, electric scooters are just becoming popular for people of all ages. The price for a new scooter can be overwhelming for most on a tight budget. Stand up gas or electric scooters can start at around $400 to over $2000 for a scooter moped. This does not mean you have to be rich to own one, just patient and creative. If you know how and where to find them, you can actually find cheap gas or electric scooters.

First off, the Internet is a haven for just about any kind and brand of cheap electric scooter. You can buy an electric scooter for a lower price because it is out of date or if it has already been used. Before you make your purchase, however, you should find out the unit's history first and if it had undergone repairs in the past. Also, check its mileage and any signs of wear.

Vehicle auctions may be another place to check for cheap electric scooters. Some people trade in their scooters when purchasing another vehicle. Their used scooter are many times sold to the public at a very low price. Even though not all vehicle auctions have gas or electric scooters in their inventory, it is worth checking out.

Third, watch out for store sales. Yes, even electric scooters are included in motor parts sales, sometimes, so it's best to be friends with the staff so you get information about a sale earlier than anybody else does. This way, you get a head start on the kinds of electric scooters available and you can search the Internet for reviews.

Cheap electric scooters are possible, so if you don't have much money, you don't have to worry. All you need is a little bit of skill, ingenuity and resourcefulness to catch the sales when they happen. - 21393

Auto Sales Training to Build a Pipeline Full of Customers

By Mak Nawab

As a salesperson one of the most important activities you participate in is building a pipeline of customers. This is often viewed as an overwhelming task. Figuring out how to get your name out there seems like a difficult thing. It does not have to be. Through the use of current customers, referrals, networking and blogging, developing a pipeline of customers can be effectively accomplished with little to no monetary investment. All it takes is a little time and know how.

Automobile Sales Training Tip One: Keep Current Customers One of the guaranteed ways to keep your pipeline full of customers is to keep your current customers happy. A happy customer is a repeat customer. By simply treating a customer fairly, you are guaranteed future business. A customer who has a satisfying experience with you will return again and again. Treating your customer right means more than just that one sale. It can mean sales for years to come.

Automobile Sales Training Tip Two: Customers Generate Referrals An additional benefit to treating your customers well is referrals. A happy customer is more likely to drop your name to friends and family members who might also be in need of a vehicle. The best part of this is it is a continuing cycle. One happy customer leads to a referral who will lead to another and another. It can be a never ending flow of customers in your pipeline.

Car Sales Training Tip Three: Social Networking to Generate Customers Whether you are traditional or technological advanced, social networking is a great way to generate contacts that will become future customers. Using fraternal organizations or other social groups is one way to do this. By putting yourself in social situations, you are automatically generating interest and name recognition. Another way to do this is through the online community. Social networking sites work just like 'real life' networking and will allow you to effectively generate customers if used properly.

Auto Sales Training Tip Four: Blogging for Pipeline As blogging becomes more and more popular it is becoming an invaluable business tool. By using a friendly and upbeat tone to talk about yourself and your products, promotional activities and additional features, you are likely to reach some of the many 'internet babies,' people who do everything on the web. Use a blog effectively to help keep your pipeline full of customers. - 21393
